WNC Library & Media Services will borrow materials from other libraries for WNC students, faculty, and staff.
Books
- No charge (unless the lending library charges)
- Must have WNC library card
- Print out the book information (including the call #) from the library catalog and bring it to the library's circulation desk.
- The library staff will check to see if it is available locally. If yes, requestors will be sent to that library to pick it up.
- If the book is unavailable locally, the library will order it.
Articles
- Must have WNC library card
- Check if the library subscribes to the magazine or newspaper using the magazines/newspapers by title link.
- If the library doesn't get it full-text, print out the publication information (article and magazine title, date, page numbers) and bring it to the library's circulation desk to order.
- 10 cents per page
DVDs/Videos
- The library staff will check to see if it is available locally. If yes, requestors will be sent to that library to pick it up.
- Only faculty may order from the University of Nevada, Reno and Great Basin College.
- If permitted by the public library, the library staff will order DVDs and videos for WNC staff.
