girl at computer WNC Library offers many services to its students and staff from off campus. Online research sources can be easily accessed with a WNC NetID (formerly email name) and password. The off campus login link provides more details. Researchers may find it easy to use the "I am looking for" drop down menu (in the upper right hand corner) to locate most library research tools.

Library Cards

Students taking a class at the Carson City or Fallon campus should register for a library card at the library desk in the library. Students taking web classes only may register for a free library card using this online registration form. This card will allow its users to check out books at any Nevada System of Higher Education library, including the Univ. of Nevada, Reno.

Articles

Look for magazine, journal, newspaper, and encyclopedia articles from over 30 online article databases using the following links. Be sure to limit your search to "full-text" if you only want to locate online sources.

Book Requests for Rural Students

Current WNC students residing in Fernley, Hawthorne, Lovelock, Smith Valley and Yerington may request WNC books and have them mailed to their home using this
book request form. Return postage is included.

Loan period: 30 days Overdue fees: 25 cents per day Limit: 3 books per request
