WebCT Log On Support

WebCT isn't available until about one week prior to the beginning of the semester. Only students who have registered and paid for the class will be able to get in. After meeting this criteria, students should follow the log on instructions below.

Students who are having trouble logging in to their WebCT classes should call the library reference desk at 775-445-3227. The librarians will help trouble shoot the problem and can reset passwords if necessary.

WebCT Log On Instructions

To log into WebCT, students must

• Register and pay for their class
• Know their WNC email address
• Know their WNC student I.D. (W #)
• Wait until one week before classes start

To get a WNC email address, follow these steps

• Login to the WNC ( SWAMI) email server
• Click on activate your account (even if you had an account but forgot the password)
• Follow the directions and you'll get your email address/account.

To get a W number (student ID)

• Login to WNC's WebReg
• Follow the directions to log in
• After logging in, your W # will appear in the upper left hand corner of the page
