Student Support at WNC Library & Media Services

General Information

The library staff invites you to visit our attractive and comfortable library facilities equipped with new PCs and Macs, the latest software, group study rooms, copying and scanning equipment and much more! With thousands of books and online research materials, you should find everything you need to complete your assignments and write high quality research papers. Researchers may find it easy to use the "I am looking for" drop down menu (in the upper right hand corner) to locate most library research tools.

If you are anywhere on campus, you can go to the library web site and find full-text articles without a password. If you are off campus, you will need a WNC email address and password. The off campus login link provides more details.

Library Cards

Current WNC students and staff may register for a free library card using this online registration form. Library cards are also issued at each campus library. This card will allow its users to check at books at any NSHE library, including the Univ. of Nevada, Reno.

Articles

Look for magazine, journal, newspaper, and encyclopedia articles from over 30 online article databases using the following links. Be sure to limit your search to "full-text" if you only want to locate online sources.

Books

Look for books in electronic format (e-books) - Some WNC books and many government publications are available online. Use this link to learn how to find them.

Look for WNC books in the No. Nevada Academic Libraries Catalog
Remember to limit your search to "WNC" under the "location" field.
