Current Research: Finding Articles & Journals Using Databases

Academic Search Premier provides full text coverage for nearly 4,700 scholarly publications, including more than 3,700 peer-reviewed journals. Coverage spans virtually every area of academic study from current articles back to 1975.

Access Science is the online equivalent of the most current edition of the McGraw-Hill Encyclopedia of Science & Technology, which also includes biographies of scientists, recent science-related news articles, study guides, and web site links.

Scientific American provices all the articles with images of the Scientific American magazine and its special editions.

Finding a Specific Journal

Electronic journals can be searched by selecting " Find Magazines or Newspapers by Title" from the library home page. Researchers may also get a list of e-journals available on a given topic by selecting a subject category using the same link. The following journals are available electronically on astronomy.
