    AstronomyCenter.org is a collection of digital resources for college-level introductory astronomy faculty and students. Astronomy Center is brought to you by the American Association of Physics Teachers, and the NSF-NSDL.
     
  • Hubble Space Telescope
    With over 30 years of data, this site documents NASA's Hubble Space Telescope mission, observations, and discoveries. Materials include videos, images, media resources, and scientific articles.
     
  • NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration)
    The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is America’s civil space program and the global leader in space exploration.
     
  • PsyLink: Astronomy Education Resources
    Educational information, news, and photographs focused on topics pertaining to astronomy and physics.
     
  • Science.gov 
    Science.gov searches over 60 databases and over 2,200 scientific websites to provide users with access to more than 200 million pages of authoritative federal science information including research and development results.
     
  • Sky & Telescope
    A publication of the American Astronomical Society, this site offers information and tools that are useful and accessible to researchers and hobbyists.

Space Weather

Nevada Specific Websites

  • Western Nevada Astronomical Society
    The Western Nevada Astronomical Society (WNAS) is an amateur astronomer group located in Carson City, Nevada. WNAS is the operating group of the Jack C. Davis Observatory, an open to the public observatory which holds weekly star parties.
     
  • Jack C. Davis Observatory at Western Nevada College
    The Jack C. Davis Observatory is open to the public and provides a research-level facility for WNC students and the community. 
     
  • Fleischmann Planetarium and Science Center at UNR
    The Fleischmann Planetarium at the University of Nevada, Reno, conducts educational programs and shows focused on various astronomical subjects and phenomena. They offer private showings and events, as well as being available for field trips.
