Faculty at WNC expect students to follow a "citation style" and they will generally indicate which one they want them to use. There are several styles available, but the two most commonly used at WNC are the MLA  and APA citation styles.  Most faculty teaching English require the MLA Style.  If you have questions about which one to use, ask your instructor.
