Produced by the U.S. Dept. of Education, this site's primary purpose is to  provide information  about college affordability and value.    For each institution, there is a scorecard with graphs/charts providing condensed information on five important criteria: Costs, Graduation Rate, Loan Default Rate, Median Borrowing, and Employment. (Recommended by Choice, American Library Assoc.)

FAFSA: Free Application for Federal Student Aid

ALL WNC students applying for financial aid or a student work study position must fill out  a FAFSA application.     WNC's federal code for completing the FAFSA is 013896.   This application is important not only for getting federal aid, but also for determining your eligibility for other aid that private institutions might offer.

Financial Aid Toolkit
