About Interactive Video Services
Library & Media Services oversees the delivery of interactive video (IAV) services to WNC classes. WNC IAV classes are held in multiple locations “live” via video conferencing equipment with the instructor at one site or campus. Students participate in the class in “real time” - both verbally and visually. Classes are transmitted from the Carson, Fallon or Douglas campus to other campuses and rural centers, including Fernley and Yerington.
Media Services Coordinator
WNC's video conferencing facilities allow WNC faculty and staff to hold real-time classes and meetings in several locations at once with audio and video capabilities. WNC classes have the highest priority, followed by NSHE and WNC uses. To schedule video conferences, contact Donna Redfern.
Interactive Video Equipment Operation Manuals
The following manuals provide detailed instructions with pictures on the operation of the IAV equipment.
