Community Member: Library Services

Library Accounts

As a community member, you do not need an account to use the space, but will need one to borrow materials. To have a WNC library account created, please bring the following to the circulation desk:

• A valid, state-issued, photo ID 
• A current Nevada public library card
• A current, valid email address (all correspondence are sent via email)
   

Borrowing Materials

• Books: Community members may borrow up to 5 books. Books are generally due 3 weeks from the date they are checked out.

If you need to renew an item or check it out for a longer period of time, please contact the library.

Library Study Spaces

Community members are more than welcome to utilize the spaces we have available in the library. Reservations for study rooms are limited to WNC students, faculty, and staff. 

Other Services

Community members may use the desktop PC and Mac computers, desktop scanners, and the coin operated photocopier ($0.05 per page).

WNC students, faculty, and staff receive priority for the use of any library equipment or materials.
