Library Services

The new library system means that library cards are no longer necessary. Library accounts are valid for as long as you teach for WNC.

• Your account ID is your NSHE number.
• Your account password will be your WNC password.
• All notifications will be sent to your WNC email address or the address registered with the college.

Library cards are NOT needed to access the library's online research databases.

Library account benefits include:

* Borrow materials at any WNC campus library.
* Order books or videos from other NSHE libraries and other libraries in Nevada (Interlibrary Loan).
* No limit to number of books that can be checked out.
* Courtesy email reminders.
 

TO CHECK LIBRARY ACCOUNTS ONLINE: 

Access library accounts online using your WNC Library account information. 

Faculty may check out books for a semester.   Videos/DVDs check out for 3 weeks use.

Books may be renewed once for an additional period of time, if not on HOLD by another patron, by:

• Clicking on the link in the email notice that is sent a few days before the item is due.
• Renewing online using your library account information. 
• Calling a campus library during business hours with your WNC information.
• Bringing the items to the library's desk during business hours.
