Library Services

The print reserve collection, located behind the library's front desk, consists of course materials placed in the library by faculty members. Reserve materials may include textbooks, recent journal articles, sample research papers, answer keys,  videos, or CDs.

These items are placed on limited loan periods ranging from a "2-hour in-library use only" to a 7-day checkout, depending on the instructor's request. Due to the high demand and use for these items, no holds or renewals may be placed on reserve items.

Check the library catalog to see if a WNC instructor has placed reserve items in the library for a class. All the items placed on reserve in the library are listed under the instructor's name as well as the class name. Reserves are not available before the beginning of the semester.
